The Verne Fowler Jewels Dance Company and Gems Pre-Team are the elite performance and competition teams of Verne Fowler School of Dance and Theater Arts. It is the goal of the company to educate, motivate and inspire each company member through the art of dance. We look to foster each dancer’s unique talents and most importantly their confidence. Company training puts emphasis on the value of technique, performance skills, hard work, dedication and sportsmanship.

 

The Gems Pre-team is designed to prepare dancers to be members of VFJDC. We are committed to helping each dancer reach their fullest potential and hope to instill the values of the company at a young age.

 

In the 2022-2023 Season, the VFJDC and Gems Pre-team earned a total of 70 high score awards, 16 Special Judges Awards, Costume Awards, Entertainment Awards, Convention Invites and Scholarships, and Highest Scoring Group Awards!
